Tap water is drinkable and pure — safe to drink from the tap.
Heating works efficiently only when windows and doors stay closed. Cold air enters quickly and may cause pipes to freeze.
The hot water boiler is designed for 4 people.
Please keep showers max 15 minutes per person.
If hot water runs out, it will take 3–4 hours for the boiler to heat up again.
Slippery surfaces: Ice forms quickly; walk carefully.
Snow falling from the roof: Avoid standing under roof edges.
Extreme cold: Dress warmly; exposed skin may freeze in minutes.
The house includes 1 parking space outside.
Do not splash water on the smart lock.
If the buttons freeze, the lock may stop working.
If the lock does not work (frozen/unresponsive):
Call +358 400 99 66 07.
If you are outside with no phone, go to a neighbour’s house to stay warm and ask for help.
Always close the hot tub cover when not in use — otherwise the water can freeze and damage the system.
Do not put soap or any chemicals into the hot tub.
Be careful of slippery surfaces around the tub.
Sauna heats up in 30–40 minutes.
Do not dry clothes in the sauna — fire hazard.
Only throw water on the stove.

Turn the sauna on using the ON/OFF button. When you are finished, please turn it off. The sauna heats up in about 30–40 minutes. Be careful around the stove and stones, as they become very hot. How to Open the Hot Tub Cover
1. Fold the cover in half
Lift the front edge of the cover and fold it back toward the middle so it rests over the built-in handle bar.
2. Use the handle to move the cover away
Hold the handle firmly and pull it downward/backward so the folded cover lifts and moves away from the hot tub.
3. After using the hot tub, please close the cover. Otherwise, it may cool down, freeze, and become damaged.
⚠️ Hot Tub Rules: Keep the cover fully closed and latched when not in use. If left open for over 10 hours, a €500 service fee may apply, plus any repair costs. Do not add shampoo, soap, bath oils, or any chemicals—if added, a €500 cleaning/service fee may apply, plus any repair costs.
When you turn on the stove, make sure the pan is not empty. An empty pan must not be used on an induction cooktop.
When you want to use the dishwasher, open the valve on the tap so that water can flow into the machine. Close the valve completely when you are no longer using the dishwasher. The valve is closed when turned to the left, and open when it is in the middle position.
Check the oven is empty before use. Select the function and temperature you need. Please leave it clean after every use.
The oven also has a microwave function.

The Levi area is one of the best places in the world to see the Northern Lights, and they are very often visible during the dark season when the sky is clear. However, the aurora is a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed, as visibility depends on solar activity, cloud cover, time of night, and exact location. When trying to see the Northern Lights at Levi Nordic Star, we recommend turning off all indoor and outdoor lights so that the sky is as dark as possible; in many cases, the aurora can already be seen directly from inside once the lights are off.
To increase your chances further, we highly recommend downloading the “My Aurora Forecast & Alerts” app, which shows real-time aurora activity, suggested viewing times, and the best locations in the area to see them.
At the entrance, you will find buttons for the glass roof heating. If the glass is frozen or covered with snow, you can press the button to activate a 15-minute heating cycle, and the ice/snow will melt. If the weather is very cold, you may need to activate it a couple of times, but usually once is enough.
Please do not use the roof heating at the same time as the sauna is on.
In case of emergency, please call 112 (ambulance, police, fire).
The fire blanket is located next to the main door.
The first aid kit is in the kitchen cabinet.
